People say that you don't fail until you give up. The only problem is that you can't exactly keep working on your goals after you are dead. Even the most extreme and motivated person is guarunteed to "give up" eventually.
I say the goal should be to stay ahead of the curve. Instead of giving up when you are dead, give up in a year. Instead of giving up in a year, why not give up in a week? Instead of giving up in a week, why not just give up on your goal and do something else entirely before even starting it in the first place? Now that's efficiency!
He created an entire platform just to host his stuff. I would not be surprised if he refused to bend to the limitations of a third party platform ever again.
I know that if I went a nuclear route route like that then I would leave nothing behind.

Lol, I just watched the clip. Just before this he talks about how he made his moves on a woman in the most lewed and inappropriate way to treat a married woman: taking her furnature shopping.
He says he "moved on her like a bitch" but that he "couldn't get it." Then in the very next moment, he talks about how he can get any woman because he's a star.
In the clip says he has to take tic-tacs because he'll just start kissing women; like a magnet.
Do you notice a pattern? He talks about somerhing perfectly ordinary and mundane, like furnature shopping, getting rejected, and taking tic-tacs, but then he immediately turns around with his own, clearly out of touch interpretation of things: no wait, actually furnature shopping was "going down hard", because every playboy takes chicks furnature shopping! No wait, actually he can do anything; getting rejected was a fluke! No wait, he's not just taking tic-tacs, he's getting ready to kiss a woman at any moment, like Andrew-Fucking-Tate!
I already know that my interpretation of things is correct, which is why I am interested to hear yours. Do you agree with some people's claims that he was just joking around and playing a role? Or do you think that Donald Trump genuinely believed that he was some kind of hyperbolic Playboy despite reality proving otherwise?

When they started talking about, "A list stars, possibly underage," that was to discourage anyone from downloading it. I didn't download Hunter's laptop stuff because apparently there's nasty pics of his underage niece and I don't need the FBI busting into my life claiming I have that stuff on my computer.
Yep, pedophilia laws exist to protect the privacy of people like Hunter. If you aren't a pedophile or a scoundrel the you shouldn't be trying to find out about any of the molestation going on. It's just not a good look to be so interested in things like that.

Damn, I can tell why Liberal memes have the reputation that they do. I ain't reading that huge wall of text. At least put in a paragraph break or two! If you can't explain it concisely then you don't understand it.
That being said, the small part that I read is something that I strongly agree with. Too many people blame others for not accepting their ideology, when the truth is that paying attention to what people believe and what resonates with people and what falls flat are the keys to understanding the core of one's own ideology.

You're right. Children are plenty capable of feeling empathy and sympathy for animals. When children learn about what it takes to get meat, they often do ask "why."
But my mom finds that all it takes to get them to accept the treatment of animals is to say that it's how we get our meat, and to ask them what else we could possibly do. That tends to address their concerns pretty well.
Alright, I've decided: I'm voting for Joe Biden.
TL;DR: if you care about censorship, but don't care about personal effort or about making things easy for your potential followers then Wordpress is a great option.
If you care about personal effort or about making things easy for your potential followers then services built on ActivityPub (such as Mastadon) are great options.
If you care about censorship and personal effort, but don't care about making things easy for potential followers, then Nostr is a good protocol without any more updates to the protocol or clients.
But if you care about censorship AND about making things easy for potential followers then Nostr is only slightly better than the alternatives in its current state, no matter how much effort you are willing to go to.
In it's current state, Nostr's users will never be able to tell when that censorship exists, or which relays they have to add to bypass it, but at least it's easy if you ever find out.
A dogma of transparency would be nice. I'd love to be able to know the private filtering decisions that relays are making on my behalf. I'd love to be able to determine the effect my relay choice will have on the notes I recieve.
Voting is consent? Do you really believe that recieving votes from people is a valid form of consent?
Well, yeah, you aren't a kid. Why would you care about the possibility of one child or another being manipulated into making a mistake with their body? Plus, you can always just close the door on immigrants if they come to you needing something, so they aren't your problem either.
