Elon Musk has been very inconsistent, swinging from one extreme to the other — meeting with the ADL, promising to shadow ban users that the ADL doesn’t like under the absurd slogan that we will have “freedom of speech but not freedom of reach” (meaning that you may not be outright banned but almost no one will see your posts) — then quarrelling with Greenblatt, unbanning a few good folks, lifting a lot of shadow bans — and then swinging back the other way and banning good people for totally looney-tunes reasons.

The biggest attack vector that Nostr has is the centralization in the file hosting servers.

There is already NIP96 and several easily installable servers, why are there clients that still don't allow you to choose the server you want? I have seen some clients that implement NIP96 but they only allow you to select from a closed list 🤷‍♂️

The spec is there, and if someone wants to see how to implement it in a client check the Coracle code where hodlbot gave me the opportunity to implement it as it should be, open and leaving free choice to the user.
