As a person who has bought many devices. I would say having the latest device because of it's long-term support isn't worth it. Sure you get security updates but lets face it most security updates are really just to ensure you have a double backdoor for google, samsung, microsoft, meta & whoever to get in. The whole it's to protect from 0 day hacks is such a vague broad explanation you have to question it really.

If you want a phone just to be privacy free it's better to go for a older phone over a newer one. First ask yourself what are you getting this phone for do you need the extra ram are you really going to play games on it? How much space do you need are you really gunna fill it all up or will you be transferring things to pc more because if you are you don't need much space unless you want to fill your phone with music.

Newer devices are getting more hoops to unlock the bootloader I just recently got a unlocked Moto G Plus 2024. Motorola did this slick shit that I had to keep the phone on & connected to wifi for 7 days straight just to get the OEM Unlock option in developer options to ungray. After that I had to adb my phone run this command motorola instructs to get your bootloader lock code then I had to go to the motorola website & sign up just to go to their bootloader unlock page where I have to paste that lock code.

Then I waited for an email from them to get my unlock code which I have to run in adb to actually unlock the bootloader. It was not worth all those hoops just because the phones newer. If motorola can do that whats to stop samsung & google from implementing that into newer phones. On my older devices changing os was easy cakes none of those hoops just oem unlock & ready to tinker.

I owned a google pixel 6a & putting calyxos on that was easy. It was automated so all I had to do was bootloader unlock & usb debug mode when plugged into my pc the calyxos install page did everything else automatically & I am free.

There is a lot of suspicious evidence that it was otherwise.

More and more I am thinking about how wokism is just one prong of a much larger planned attack on all of humanity for total control of all people everywhere, forever. This is why it seems to involve almost everything—food, culture, family, money, economy, technology, language and thought itself. All of it seems to be to induced a kind of personal, communal, and societal weakness that demands a total subservience to the state and its transglobal corporate allies. This produces a crisis which we are told people cannot solve, but only states. This then allows for a new form of technological global communism under CBDCs from which there will be no escape.

There is a reason wokism came up with the COVID lockdowns, why fiscal policy went nuts with COVID, and why COVID ‘started’ in China. It’s seems that this was the beginning of the final stage of the grand scheme to unwind the global political order to transition it from being western dominated to eastern.

Furthermore there seems to be a strong relationship between woke ideology and social media usage in order to expose and expound these principles not through direct experiences, but Pavlovian exposure to such ideas. It is a Maoism form of attack that allows for one to be accused and letting the social media apparatus destroy them simply from those accusations, rather than real institutions of jurisprudence.

It’s seems that the next wave of this attack is modifying history and social context directly using closed-source AI models to change history, “those who control the present control the past, and those who control the past control the future.” This is why 2+2 = 5 under wokism. It is no longer about the relationship to truth anymore, but only towards what we have been told is true. In short, it is the final move of ‘fiat’ (by decree) to liquidate the process, or proof-of-work that must always be in relationship to truth.

Ironically as these sorts of agendas are being pushed, they are snapping a significant portion of the population into a consciousness awakening from the hypnosis of wokism and all of the deranged shit going on.

The powers that be never really expected us to wake up from the deep sleep we have been in for generations, nor did they expect us to expropriate and invert the tools of control they us against us into new weapons of personalize defense. It is both poetic and providential in what it says about humanity in our day and age, and about the coming revolutionary days that will define the next millennium.

What's stopping you from switching to Linux?

You don't need to touch terminals. You don't have to be a geek to use Linux. Distros like Zorin OS mimic Windows appearance and user experience, making the transition almost seamless.

Most software you are currently using on a daily basis are also compatible with Linux, and there are FOSS (free and open-source software) alternatives for everything. You can also run Windows apps directly on Linux, using the Wine compatibility layer, that comes pre-installed on Zorin OS. If you are into gaming, most Steam games are also playable on Linux.

Linux offers greater privacy, security, performance and freedom than Windows or MacOS. What's your excuse for not exiting them?

You can get a nice used Pixel 6 on Swappa.com for $200. Thay are great phones, and still supported for 3 years. (Security updates end July 01, 2027)
