Money is an extremely powerful form of control. When your production and value isn't being stolen by inflation people can actually "pick themselves up by their bootstraps" because savings means something. It'll take generations but it's always possible.
I feel this will get better in the future as clients further develop features. More incentive for donations by users if you focus on great clients and features.

As long as bitcoin exists I believe that there will not be a distopian future. I support bitcoin for my kids sake and future grandkids.

Is there a way for nostr clients to add in language detection and filters? Unfortunately, I never learned how to read other languages and would like the ability to filter out if I could. Maybe I'll start Rosetta stone but in the meantime just looking at ways to better curate my feed to be diverse, good content.

Most journalists have an overinflated sense of self importance. It used to be justified because there was way more investigative journalism, now it's just repeating talking points with an agenda and click bait headlines for ad dollars. They also mainly come from similar rich backgrounds and never had to worry about crap a day in their lives so they're completely entrenched on the pedestals of higher liberal arts education.

I keep it at 10 relays, 4 are paid 6 are larger public relays.
I curated my list of relays and its helped. Paid some sats for paid relays that ask for one time access payments with some larger public ships.
The world needs strong bitcoin adoption, the rest follows. Sperate government and money and you loose a lot of "control" over populations in a massive way.
