Makes me think of Liu Cixin's "The three body problem".
Any sound literature/sources/studies at hand on how exactly LED light is harmful or worse than incandescent?
Sure, it's not a spectrum but only isolated frequencies/wavelengths, I know.
But plants apparently grow fine with a few wavelengths. Why shouldn't humans be fine with a few important ones instead of a full spectrum?
I'd assume that physiological/biochemical processes do not depend on the full spectrum.
Isn't the executive order 6102 risk there, regardless of whether people self custody or use custodians?
As long as there isn't very widespread adoption, with a relevant fraction of voters/lobbyists (say > 15 %) holding Bitcoin (custodially/non custodially), then a state, seeking to get a sound basis for the coming monetary paradigm by building a reserve, will just issue a 6102 order or make holdings unviable by imposing an astronomical unrealised capital gains tax.
Many people will comply, unwilling to leave the country. At least that's what I'd expect to happen.
This whole travel rule and MICA thing in combination with an unrealised capital gains tax on BTC holdings is IMO what is currently the greatest threat to BTC ever reaching wide adoption.
Any opinions on this?
A high enough unrealised capital gains tax can make DCA'ing that would otherwise make sense to many ordinary people mostly uninteresting or even financially entirely unviable. (These people will then be forced into the ordinary finance sector, DCA'ing ETFs instead)
And since until now only a minuscule fraction of voters hold a significant share of their wealth in BTC, political parties just aren't incentivized to oppose these taxes.

AI was apparently trained on too much Cartoon content.
Well sometimes when I review some prior work of mine, which was done in a highly caffeinated state .. it does feel
a bit like the web on the bottom.

Before .. plenty of white, plastic looking stuff everywhere already.
Coating natural materials is - almost generally IMO - a downgrade.
As soon as coatings that were once whole wear off even just a little bit, the coated object will look blemished.
Natural materials like wood, stone that come with inbuilt textures mostly don't suffer from this effect.
Maybe lifetimes are just a bit too short to realise one's own big errors/mistakes?
Maybe it'd be different if lifetimes were 50 years longer?
Then people would also be much likelier to experience and process subtle political/societal differences between periods of time.
The last few dots in the first chart make it look (to me) as if were slowly approaching the flat part of a sigmoid, rather than getting steeper.

Kind of retarded way to remove ice.

TLSR (too long, still read):
claim: western car companies haven't really pushed productivity/efficiency of factories close to the limits, because they didn't need to. Because they've been utilising cheap labour in China or elsewhere to get enough margin.
Tesla is changing this.
> lack of electricity
They claim a faulty transmission line is the cause.

I always read it as: "Well .. guess I'll look to the side awkwardly .. because the situation is an awkward situation."
Is it really that surprising? If they barely manage to reach reproductive age and have offspring, that's all it takes to continue to exist.
The fact that they manage that much doesn't tell us anything about their level of health though.
If syncing via network becomes too slow, one could resort to ordering/sending/receiving an SSD with a blockchain that's a few days/weeks old via mail?
Exporting the blockchain to another SSD from a running node should be fast/easy.
So only a few GBs would be left to load via network.
Thesis: large "social" media companies have the data and possibly already statistically significant correlations (drawn from it) between the sex of an embryo and the behaviour of the mother/parents.
