I don’t know what is or isn’t good for the world. It’s a complex equation imo. Some things they do are bad. I think some other things facebook has done have been intensely positive for many people’s lives. For example many small businesses have been transformed.

That aside, of course I support the idea of making nostr bigger. The point that I’m trying to allude to is that for that to happen it would have to somehow compete better on reach, imo

Chicken and egg, I know, but also many in nostr seem to think reach doesn’t matter at all, and that’s a problem imo

One image I’ve had in my head for awhile is of myself and my wife in a cabin mansion at Christmas time surrounded by our daughters and their family.

Being able to bring it all together in reality is probably my biggest personal goal.

My main issue with nostr is that it seems like the people here are almost exclusively laser-eye maxis.

When I want to reach those guys, I don’t need a special app: I just tweet on Twitter with carefully selected trigger keywords, and sure enough, one of them will screenshot it and post here and make sure all laser-eyes see it.

Are there some non-laser-eyes here? Make yourself known in the comments!
