Yep. I totally agree, coral reefs are amazing. I like the Caribbean Sea, haven’t been anywhere else really. You?

I like coffee cups that are wide on the bottom with pregnant curves, narrow on top. While distractedly sipping, my mind consistently expects the coffee to be gone, while the capacious base keeps serving goodness. It’s a series of morning surprises. This brilliance from those who make mugs out of clay with their hands, the perfect lip, and perfectly placed handle. Fantastic. What a way to begin a long drive today. Good morning plebs!

I like snorkeling, but I like scuba between 0 and 33 feet (1 atm) better. I think there is nothing I want to see below that, and I like being able to surface without having to wait. Sharks are pretty and all, but I’d rather watch a documentary.

I only work out when I have some lofty goal that requires it, eg summiting a ring of fire dormant volcano. Otherwise why work out?

Yeah, well, as much as I could say about PayPal, I recommend just don’t. Carry a few hundred in cash and a boatload in sats.

So I use WOS and Alby as zapping wallets. Alby for paying, WOS for receiving. Occasionally I balance them, if there is excess, I transfer it to Phoenix. This system seems stable and safe, a nice way to utilize the benefits of custodial and non-custodial wallets.

Fully 50% of geriatric aged people who break a hip are dead within six months of the fall. Eat good food and get the throw rugs out of your parent’s and grandparent’s homes. It’s a credible risk to their lives.

The more you know….😆

It’s a fine trap. Few can afford rent and to save for 20 years to buy a home with no mortgage, and even if you do that, raise a family in an apartment somewhere so you can have the house you wanted for your family after they’re raised? Even if the older generation who owns their homes sold and accepted monthly payments for their home, where would they live? The banks win again when older folks reverse their equity to pay medical bills while the bank allows them to live in a home they paid for, bought for much less than its current value, the forecasted value a decade on being higher still. It’s criminal, but wealth breeds power which breeds more wealth, and the folks just trying to live bear the burden.

That’s the thing, a home is not an investment, it’s a necessity. If you attempt to profit from your “investment” you are homeless and if you don’t want to move to a less desirable home market, you must buy in again somewhere. Probably you sign up for a 30 year mortgage and surrender 50% of your earned income to the banks for 15 years. A primary home is a managed cost, much like an automobile.

….by not fasting three days a month. 😊

Definitely propaganda, interesting to know what mainstream society has been ingesting though. I use that information to inform my expectations.

Butter, mushrooms, onion and garlic first. Medium high heat, you’re looking for browning. Separate pan, chicken, about 180. Slow rise in temp. Add bacon to the veggies, move to high heat, agitate. Throw the noodles away in your *spare* time. Add vanilla in splashes to the veggies. See if you can get the alcohol to burn off with a searing flame. Cook the chicken in butter slow to 160 internal, then add thinly sliced peaches, high heat, coat the chicken in vegetable mixture and fat sear all. Add a dash of smoked paprika, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper (yes, the peaches too). Garnish with rosemary and serve.

It seems to be a spectrum. Per technical definition I enjoy medium rare-rare, not tartar, but if you’re in a restaurant, order it bloody so you end up medium right? The good sear is key. Crunchy fat on the outside, purple line on the inside.

I haven’t seen the Barbie movie yet, but I expect plentiful cringes and sporadic outbursts will follow. Have you?

Yeah, those steaks probably cost $50/lb and worth it. Waygu hamburger is amazing too! Just please, if you aren’t going to eat it rare, save it for someone else!
