Great information, thank you. I have a rough and rudimentary understanding of the processes surrounding the apiary process. I’d like to have some honey production, but I’ve always wanted to avoid having to take the frames out and disturb the hive to harvest the honey. I will do more reading about Barre and Longstroth hives. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. We’re a legacy west coast family, Alabama was really nice, welcoming, and felt a lot like home, here in the Northern California grasslands, though I have rarely met people who were more polite than those there. There are a few knuckle-dragging mouth breathers here too! lol!

Well, I’m tempted to call our place the drunken Boar ‘N Sow ranch because we ferment the grain and sometimes it smells pretty strong and they lay down immediately and sleep it off. I try to throw the process to anaerobic lactobacillus, but yeast is pretty pervasive and persistent. Seriously though, I do make some moonshine occasionally for our family and have been considering using a mead as mash. I think if it’s done right the product would contain the nuances of the honey source botanicals and that could be amazing.

Lol. Maybe it’s time to have a hive or two ourselves. Any merit to the flow hives or are they hype? I think I’d prefer to design it for undisturbed longevity rather than suiting up and disassembling if that’s possible. We recently travelled through AL on a trip recently. Have you lived there long?

That’s really interesting. I’ve been told I flood the room with blue energy upon entering, I’ve never quite been entirely sure what that means, but different people and circumstances. The bees must like it, because everywhere I go they come hovering in and land on me. I just worry I’ll not know they are there and well we know how that usually ends.

Ahh, but the criminal pursuit keeps the prices for the illegal substances artificially high, now why would government officials want that I wonder? Eighty percent of the world’s heroin comes from Afghanistan, I’m sure that’s a coincidence and the US was really just chasing malicious terrorists around through the caves….

We’re on it! There is plenty of water around, the fermented mash seems to attract them as well, and it correlates with what you are saying, lots of available dissolved sugars. We as a family must all be sweet, because we apparently smell like sugar to the bees. It’s an interesting phenomenon for a family of keto and fasting adherents. Blood sugar is sugar I suppose, no matter the source. Maybe it’s all the beer we drink. Decidedly not keto, but oh so good. Thank you! 😉

Good morning! I have a bee question for you. Our neighbors keep bees and it seems late in the summer into fall the bees that visit seem very attracted to people. They aren’t malicious in any way, but it’s disconcerting to have them land in hair or on skin, and invites a painful and disastrous interaction. What are they looking for? I’d like to provide it for them so they can have what they seek, but I have no idea what that might bee! 😏

It is a spectrum though, some are dysfunctionally autistic yes, but a degree of autism does not necessarily even mean disadvantaged. Also, satanic? Evil? Really?

It’s the study of correlation of numbers and events. I think some people take it too far applying meaning, it’s an interesting rabbit hole. If you look into it, I’m interested in your thoughts.

Have you ever looked into gematria?

While I’m not a fan of Monsanto or synthetic sweeteners, Monsanto sold the rights to aspartame in 2000. A 165 pound person who drinks 21 12 ounce cans of diet soda a day is approaching the maximum amount of dietary aspartame. While it does metabolize into phenylalanine, aspartic acid, and methanol primarily, maximum consumption of aspartame results in 1%-2% of the daily production and consumption aspartic acid which is an amino acid. Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid found in milk products and eggs, and the while methanol itself is toxic, the amounts resulting from aspartame metabolites is very small. While aspartame is certainly not a vitamin, and gluttonous habits probably cause some people to overindulge, I believe it to not be cause for alarm ingested in small reasonable amounts. Check out Ajinomoto, the world’s largest producer of Aspartame. 😉 As with everything, toxicity is a function of concentration and time.

I’ve been focusing on producing meat and dairy products for five years. It’s difficult to maintain the agricultural feedstock to maintain the animals…every day I’m amazed by the utility and productive power of ruminant animals and the ability of fermentation to increase the yield of harvested plant matter. If desperate times ensue, it will be my pleasure to barter, trade, and sell products in a Bitcoin (and Monero) economy.

Well, I don’t see that happening to me personally but I’ll go take what I need from those who have by destructive force before I tolerate that…motivated by pure principal alone.

The government need desperate people to serve the bourgeoisie overlords at poverty inducing wages. How long until hunger drives the masses to riot? Propaganda isn’t going to help those hoarding on the hilltops then!

We did too, after a few catastrophes. I recommend you rescind access to all technology if she currently has it. Pencil, paper, textbooks, solitude, quiet, and a dutiful mind. It’s a lot of work, but worth it.
