me: monero is an awesome addition to bitcoin (it is), one for stacking, the other for private spending

the church of satoshi nakamoto of latter-day bitcoin saints:

lol. not saying this about everyone, love my bitcoin fam, but it needs to be said that the 'toxic btc cult' reputation seems well earned for more than a few of you.

it's generally the one's who just parrot blanket 'btc is the saviour, everything else is a shitcoin' statements, don't speak with their own words, link to sources they don't really comprehend, think nostr is private, only recently learned why they need a vpn on the internet and don't actually understand how all this privacy stuff works.

harsh? yes. so have recent comments been. bring it. love the free speech.

again this is not for most of you #plebchain. most of you have level heads and still love bitcoin. i am an avid bitcoiner, but i don't drink the cool-aid and ignore it's shortcomings.

bitcoin is about freedom. privacy is essential for freedom. it is complicated to have privacy on a public ledger. bitcoin is an awesome store of value, but it needs a 2nd layer for greater privacy and to solve the fungibility problem. lightning is maturing. cashu is also maturing. monero solves the spend issue now with privacy baked in on a protocol level. it is currency. it's meant to be spent.

#cybersecgirl #privacytechpro #bitcoin #monero

A security and a currency compared. Bully for you. 💯

Currently smoking my first Leaf by Oscar. In the top five best cigars I have ever had.

I have some retired military in my family. If they’re an indication, you’re correct. Neither is a “patriot” for the fed. The feds will be left with an army equal in size and slightly inferior to the army that will defect? lol. 😁

Absolutely. I think a decent example is the proposed State of Jefferson here in the Western US. I think the idea is decent, the implementation and ideals not tenable or completely unrealistic, but Northern California has nothing in common with central and southern CA. Same with western and eastern parts of Oregon and Washington. There is no effective representation in government for anyone, even less for the people in sparsely populated regions.

I think a civil war would be unfortunate and probably the product of a government propaganda campaign focused on promoting division in the population. It’s difficult to imagine a revolution against the government with the widespread influence it has over nearly every information source. I think the exception to this would be widespread abject poverty, a state that is coming closer every day. In either case, civil or revolutionary war, it’s going to be an unpleasant time for everyone.

Potatoes can be stuffed with calories and double baked, bacon, sour cream, minced chives, butter. It may help to let him know that building a powerful body takes plentiful fuel. Dragsters don’t get good fuel mileage. When my son wanted to muscle up as a teen age boy he grabbed some weights to work with and I gave him the wood pile and a splitting maul. When I played college sports I literally ate 6000 calories a day, you have to feed the beast. Fat is the best energy density per volume a person can eat. I wouldn’t worry about nutrition as much as energy. A daily multivitamin can close the nutrition gap temporarily. Do you think the dietary choices are driven by body image concerns? If so a talk about the unreasonable expectations media and peers have and the disproportionate influence they have on the adolescent psyche might be appropriate. Social media is a new threat to well being you and I didn’t have, remember how difficult it was even with just peers being critical? Imagine having the whole world criticizing you from the screen in the palm of your hand. I hope these thoughts help you and your son. 💜

I find a similar thing with caffeine. I find coffee addictive in a way tea and other forms of caffeine are not. But then, I have ADHD, and stimulants don't affect my neurochemistry the same way they do most people.

Perhaps you're also an outlier for some reason? Could even be the same reason...

I do enjoy coffee, caffeine is a neurological toxin and in high concentrations can kill you. I had an ADHD girlfriend once who relied on Diet Pepsi to function when the adderall wore off. I prefer the myopic drug ethanol to calm the demons in my skull personally. I think that because cigarettes are not a regulated food product there are some compounds intentionally added by big corporate tobacco companies to bolster addiction. Tobacco doesn’t have fiberglass to provide micro perforations in your lip, but modern chewing tobacco does. Same concept. I love Camel Menthols with an irrational attraction that doesn’t come from tobacco alone.

I suspect the culprit is not nicotine, but something else. I’ve been addicted to cigarettes. The addiction is no joke, I can smoke cigars when I like with no craving or addiction. I find that interesting.

I think generally that suspicion is justified, it never hurts to take time to know the circumstance. Some women wait to have kids until mid thirties now, and some men wait until they’re 38 to cheat on their family with a 22 year old cocktail waitress. 😬

How about a single woman with kids? 😏 Raising a family level 10 if you can hack it, takes the right woman though.

Well, when you want, you’ll want, and you’ll be happy to jump through all the hoops I guess. If you wait long enough menopause will take care of some concerns.
