"Totally fair-game, I'm glad that you at least now agree that the priorities were more to the treasury market"
This, right here. They're pushing away from the topic, they don't want people asking questions. They don't want people stating facts (staff meeting with shitcoiners/issuers) because they know it's not going there way. People are more interested in Bitcoin than they are of their beloved old fiat 🤣
Clarification: RoninOS is ARM only. Dojo runs on x86, but would miss the sexy RoninUI.
Come to my usual time for re-evaluating Bitcoin wallets and solutions.
I can't find a good reason to switch from Samourai. Only negative, literally, is reliance on Dojo as a solution, which is ARM only and fairly strict, rather than being able to do something more custom.
I'm seeing plenty of other wallets and solutions evolving and becoming very attractive but there's something about the cohesion of "as deep as you want, as simple as you want" of Samourai you just can't find anywhere else, and while I can't say the same about Dojo, it still offers a lot in one package that other just don't.
RoninOS running on x86 is what I'd wish for for Christmas 😋
Just bought an Antminer S19.
After years of running nodes, it's time to for the next step - Let's MINE some Bitcoin and further the hash decentralisation!
#Bitcoin will see #mainstream #adoption faster than #IPv6

GFY.
I think this is a little misleading. It's not just specifically push notifications. It's any notifications queued and/or forwarded/pushed by GCM-like cloud servers.
This.

Thanks for the reply.
It's not bad advice per se.
What's happened is, Samourai got caught in the middle of a fight against Ordinals - Ordinals exploit the protocol to be able to inject higher size TXs. Whirlpool does something similar, in the name of privacy (for its coinjoin implementation). That's the difference, and right now I personally feel the rest is mainly noise. Excited to see how it develops for all fronts to hopefully improve and evolve.
I do have something similar - Nostr clients all seem to have different ideas of the number of users following and users followed.
Example, on Primal, I follow 67 users and I am followed by 40.
On Snort, I am followed by 3 of myself (somehow) and follow 9 people.
But then, nostrudel has me following 60 users, and followed by none.
As for solutions, I'd say try and stick to one client for a longer period of time, and try different relays.
Would be nice to have a built-in client-side option to force a "Query Network" and update based on that (which itself could lead to issues).
That one came through, thanks!
Thanks.. Can't seem to replicate though, using different wallets and able to zap my address. I'll keep looking into it.
This actually hits hard.
The amount of times I wanted to stack but couldn't , but especially the amount of times I could've had low-time-pref, maybe some takeaway or something, and stacked instead.
Sending out strength vibes to all hodlers and stackers.
Is nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg.net able to pair with any self-custody wallet at this time?

"Faster" this, "Faster" that.
When they realise the strength of low-time-preference.. It'll be like a speeding truck to the face.

Most people for it seem to just suggest "Yes, do it". Everyone else is either against, or hesitant, and offers constructive feedback as to why - I think that's pretty telling.
Personally would love to see Zeus expand its functionality, but focusing on what has made Zeus, Zeus - Improving the Non-custodial Lightning Experience.
I hesitated a lot with using nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg because some features I want to use seem to lock me to its or some other eco-system (ex. Zaps /w nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm.
Another BIG one is the fact that #Primal allows me to untick its option to send all content through its relay, but then somehow resets itself, and this is opt-out rather than opt-in.
Having said that, once I gave it a go though, I can see the seamlessness. The lack of friction in the UX.
#Primal is like #Apple in this sense. For better or worse.
And I generally dislike Apple, not for what it initially proposed, but for how it turned out.
My hopes are that Primal opens up more over time to offer more CHOICE, and that other platforms are able provide the polished, seamless UX Primal has achieved.

Blocking out the no noise, listening for the signal.
This is the way.
