Note that refresh speed on global is a notable challenge, might also be worth noting to users how much data/bandwidth it adds (per relay?)
Let the user decide...
Do you think there are legal or compliance reasons for not using bitcoin, lightning or liquid.net tokens? Bitcoin and bitcoin layer 2 make the most technical sense..
Yes, if you're concerned about this, you should either have backups you regularly restore, or make an alias to rm to actually move stuff to .Trash you wipe later.
I only saw it last night for the first time.
Damus web most likely, as it needs to have the easiest & best UX possible for non-techies, but would also require key pair creation be added to Damus web. I'm open to solutions.
I'd love a quote for someone to build this that I can raise money for it. I send a post a few days ago providing the requirements.
I was this to be an always on feature, not just on initial app load. Let's say this is my main login, but I wanna create a new account to just talk about Iran, and another just about privacy coins, and I don't want either associated with @cqwww. I wanna create two new key pairs, and be able to interact with folks on these different topic areas without overlap. I'd likely have over 10 key pairs if I could do this, for different subjects/roles etc.
I'm patient and aware we're early. I'm just throwing my ideas/feature requests at @jb55 for creatively ideating, knowing that if he likes one, he'll implement in a few hours (otherwise maybe some day in the future, maybe never) :D
@jb55 if I'm going to entrust Damus web with my private key(s) anyway, why not let me manage them in the UI? I'd love to be able to easily click "generate a key pair", assign them a username/avatar, and then (perhaps on the right?) easily be able to switch between them, or ideally also integrate the ones I want to use at that time.
Loving the new UI so far btw! twitter-esque but very user friendly
@jb55 There is no way to see your username to draft a message to you in Damus web, it doesn't show jb55 anywhere in your posts if I click on your name or avatar.
When I click "Like" on a post, the heart doesn't stay red at that moment, it goes back to grey (although it does seem to stick if I reload).
My last podcast as CEO of coinos.io dropped yesterday if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g8Yl3zta9E
Here you can hear me talk about liquid.net (layer 2 bitcoin), identity, NFTs (including use cases you've never heard of that we've already built)
I've since moved on (a few months ago) to focus on https://tokenocean.io, https://ipdp.io, https://idvpn.ca and a few big new projects I'll be documenting over the next few months!
Yes, your suggestion is you can run a new nostr_console client in a new console/terminal with a different account is your recommendation if I understand correctly.
yeah, I think this is the way for now, I run a few nodes and configure a client using these nodes to recommend.
