It's kind of obvious at this point that most jobs can be automated with the current, publicly available, scuffed AI.

If you've worked in an office building, in a relatively big company, it's kind of evident that most people don't do much, if anything.

Probably a third could take a week off and it wouldn't impact the business in any way.

The question is what are these people going to do once their companies have to lay them off to be competitive with fully automated companies.

The obvious answer is that they'll want to be saved by Big Daddy Government with Universal Basic Income.

Governments are very threatened when the people are free and independent.

Of course in a UBI society, the people are not free or independent, but they still have way too much time on their hands.

If you're the government, you'll essentially want to turn the people into Zombies.

Kind of makes you wonder if all these Zombie TV shows were a big predictive programming campaign.

Governments just wouldn't last in a society where the people didn't have to work for the majority of their waking hours, even with UBI.

So they'd need wars, "natural" disasters, pandemics, mass surveilance and very strict control guidelines.

In other words, we'll be going back to full on communism, at that, in a time when governments can control everyone and everything with very advanced technology (Palantir anybody?).

I completely agree. The type of unity I refer to is not an external coordination, I am referring to an inner harmonization that connects and aligns us to act in the greater good of the collective, not because we are told to do so, but because we are natural beings that are re-aligning ourselves with the natural world. Look at how Bitcoin has aligned a core way of being in people who deeply understand it, simply by being aligned with natures rhythm. This will spread and strengthen, eventually becoming so harmonized we outgrow the need for an intermediary of trust in money and instead place that trust in the natural system of life.

Becoming more unified consciously does not mean it takes away from our unique human experience. I fully agree that we all came here to fulfill our own unique journeys only the human experience can provide. I do however, believe both uniqueness and unity can exist simultaneously if neither are absolute.

I don't like when bugs come inside, and recently we've come across some new ones. They're all dead now, but I grew up in a place that didn't even have ticks! Now weird seemingly mutated or weird, possibly poisonous bugs and creatures live all around us.

In my many decades long career I have met many people who are unable and will remain unable to function in society. These people are extremely dangerous. Barely trainable animals.

They come in all colors, sizes and shapes. Not all nightmares are locked away in cells. Many walk free. Some in my neighborhood and some in your neighborhood. You see them nightly in the local news.

Example: I call him the Mojo Man. He tried to burn up eight people at home and succeeded in destroying their home and all their possessions. WHY? Because a juvenile female would not talk to him at three in the morning. He did a couple years and released. He has been arrested and charged with violent crimes three times just this year. He is at the mental hospital every few months, off his meds and on a coroner's PC for 72 hrs. A good dose of Haldol injectable a bottle of Seroquel and Cogentin and off he goes. Booked in to the local jail until OR'ed out.

On meds he is a quiet zombie, off his meds a crazed murderous maniac.

He has no soul. Just a walking crazed corpse that don't know it is dead yet. This is the best he can expect, forever.

They are always classed as mentally ill and so never do significant time in prison. Released to maime, rape, and slay. Wash, rinse, repeat.

There is nothing humane about allowing them to walk free. There might be a time to consider euthanasia, however, I would not want that decision to make.

Prison was a break for society from the criminal. Prison was a punishment for the guilty.

Now...

Prison is a bus stop to the next victim. Three meals a day, satellite TV, gyms, free healthcare, breakfast in bed and laundry service.
