354 quintillion cryptographic hashes per second! This thing is about to go thermonuclear isn’t it?

Listen to all; follow none.

Don’t trust; verify.

It’s amazing that fiat money can still buy any amount of Bitcoin at all.

Fun facts about Telegram:

* has its own shitcoin

* is not end to end encrypted by default

* doesn’t support encrypted group chats

* is Russian owned

* is centralized

Nostr holds the promise of being an alternative, but in the meantime, I recommend checking out the matrix protocol: https://matrix.org/

One good client for it is https://element.io/

“But what about Signal?”

Signal is okay, and a better alternative to a lot of chat apps but it’s centralized, and has privacy issues (you have to sign up with a phone number). Its creator Moxie doesn’t seem to think decentralization is a good idea (in general) and expresses his views at length here: https://youtu.be/Nj3YFprqAr8

Zapped

Could work the other way as well. Mob effect could kick in and someone might be more likely to zap if they see others zapping it too. Don’t know though, would be interesting to see some blind tests on it.

In 2024 Bitcoin will have the highest stock-to-flow of any commodity in human history, second only to electromagnetically contained anti-matter.
