Although you may not have realized it at the time, I bet that was more valuable to you than the year you would have otherwise spent in school.
Inspired by #[0] 's post and the hashtag #MarchOffTwitter, I've just pinned this tweet in my twitter profile.
I'm looking forward to taking the month of March away from twitter and I challenge you to join me. Time to up our game, nostriches!!

Not what I was thinking about but I like it. Gives a quick & easy rundown. I think I'm going to use it.🙏
I'm looking for a great eye-catching image of a purple nostrich for my #MarchOffTwitter post over on that bird site. Maybe one with the hashtag already built in?
Can someone please point me to any?
Yes, it's got to be just a client thing. I'm certain I've seen it in the notifications on one of the clients I was using...maybe it was Iris? I like it too as I can more efficiently follow back.
Also, following you now, brother.
Thanks for the tip. Good advice.
I do have a hack for that (hover over the user's icon & w/o moving your mouse out of the pop up, hi-lite the npub and then hit ctrl-c) but admittedly this is a negative experience/point of friction and not for everyone. I'll just create a pinned tweet.
I'm in. I think we should leverage twitter's reach for this. I'm going to pin a tweet letting people know they can find me on nostr along with my npub.
My twitter time is down 90% these past couple of weeks. It's a big step but I'm willing to do this. Who else is in? #[1]
I'm sorry you are there. What a horrible lefty gulag that city has become. I'm surprised they "allow" this kind of "propaganda" there.
Damn! So good...I did not need to see this🤣
Followed anyway.
Our very own Katie The Russian & Jessica Hodler on The American Journal today. Great job, ladies! 🔥🔥
Now we just need to get them on nostr.
FWIW, Nostrgram does the work for you - like twatter. Just have to hit the quote icon. As #[2] mentioned, each client will render in its own way.
You make a good point here and I agree - boosting on nostr feels a bit different. I do tend to boost (without comment) notes sometimes but I typically do so while matching one of your above criteria. That said, what's one person's old relevant note or a note containing value w/o context is another's spam.🤔 I'll definitely have to strongly consider future commentless boosts more carefully.
Those were also the days of bitcoin fountains. I wish I knew then what I know & understand now. I probably wouldn't have wasted all that bitcoin on 'Satoshi Dice' and so many other things.
I remember those days, brother. Those were the days $10 bitcoin!
