Damn right! If we're lucky we get a 2% tip out. I mean, the customer IS there for our food, after all. At the end of the night the waiters are all counting their cash while we're scrubbing the line.😥
Of course...I took that for granted. But still. I can't imagine doing that. But also, at this point, I'm trying not to trip over my beard.😂
NOOOO! Dude! NO, whyyyy?!

Kind of breaks my heart how the cooks always get forgotten.😢
So sorry to hear, brother. I guess you've learned your lesson now. It'll be tough starting from scratch again but you got this!🤣
Nicely done, Jack.💪
I probably should have done this a lot sooner but GN & Pura Vida nostriches.
Still, eh? What a shame. Someone here was talking about just buying old windows windows comps for <$250 and that included hard drives, etc. and using them as a your node++
Yeah, really reasonably priced.
I think the hardest part is sourcing a RPi (they were a bit hard to find there for a while during the "pandemic") and then waiting for the IBD (initial block download - can take a few days and drive you crazy!). But truly not hard to do.
Strong work #[1] . This is what being a pleb is all about. Helping other plebs!💪
Followed.
Hardly. I mean, I'll take the compliment for sure but honestly, with the exception of high-end, in most restaurants I've ever worked at, when Chef takes a chef off the line to do some dishes, it's definitely considered like a break time.haha
Also, unless you've worked in a kitchen, here's a little know fact. Every single person knows that the most important job in the kitchen is the dishie. Everybody loves the dishie and gives nothing but mad respect to them. We always set aside a meal for them.
Super easy, brother. You can use myNode (free version is fine) or Umbrel (is there a free version? - I think so). All you'll need is a RPi, case, power source, a SS TB drive and an SD card and a cable. There are lots of great tutorials out there. Check out #[2] youtube for a great starter vid.

Almost none. Also, you can get a passive Raspberry Pi case (like a FLIRC) and it won't even have a fan. So even less electricity and perfectly silent.
No need to "try" to set up one. It's pretty easy, you got this! Just be forewarned, it'll take a day or two or more for the IBD.
For the record, I don't mind doing dishes...I find it somewhat therapeutic and certainly when our dishie leaves early, the easiest part of my day is if I have to do a few dishes. And at home, I have a dishwasher but I wash 90% of my dishes by hand. 🤷♂️
Honestly though...who cares if they call/consider bitcoin money or not. Honey badger don't give a shit.
Ohhhh...good flick. OJ was in it too if I remember right.
I know you're right.🙏 I've given up on that & heading to bed. Pura Vida!
Thanks! My recipe gives the best flavour if the finished puffs (shaped dough) sits in the fridge (4 Celsius - 39.2 Fahrenheit) for 72+ hours. More days just adds more and more flavors to it. That's why I will make on Tuesday the dough for being ready for the weekend.
In a city and for a beginner like me the electric oven was the best choice. Effeovens makes really good AVPN certified ovens, that's why I chose this: https://www.effeovens.com/prodotto/n3/
Noice! But damn you! I should be sleeping after a long day of making chocolates but now I'm researching pizza ovens!😅 So many good ones out there!
I figure I'll use twitter against themselves and leverage my reach to let as many people as possible know about the purple nostrich! My actual twitter interaction has decreased ~90%.
Dude! You're the fucking man!! I make my own pizza dough too...as a matter of fact, I'm making one on Tuesday but I've never made a sourdough pizza crust!?! Might sound crazy but it's true! That's next level and I love that idea. And I too dream of getting a proper pizza oven one day when I finally move to my forever home. I'm shooting for wood-fired. I was looking at a home in the jungle that had one (not AVPN certified but still absolutely gorgeous) and decided that I too will be sure to have one as well one day.🔥🔥
Appreciate it, brother.🙏 Home sourdough baking is the bomb! I love that stuff. SOoooo good.🔥
