Interesting! I was asking moreso because I think it's beneficial to find a middle ground where images aren't so compressed they lose quality, but not a situation where they're not compressed enough and use a ton of bandwidth for clients.
"One theory holds that the sign grew out of the Spanish and Spanish American scribal abbreviation "ps" for pesos. A study of late 18th- and early 19th-century manuscripts shows that the s gradually came to be written over the p, developing into a close equivalent to the "$" mark."

Awesome job to all the contributors! Side question, how would you compare the compression ratio of nostr.build to imgur? If I upload say, a 30mb image to each one, what would be the size of the compressed version?
I had a feeling that post was going to end up being a test case for post deletion 🙂
I agree that seinfeld stayed strong to the last season, but I really felt like the finale episode was a glorified highlight clip reel.

If each website archive has its own version of a note ID, then you could have copies of the archive on multiple relays, making it so you have both redundancy and no relying on a single centralized database like Internet Archive

Correction: Meant to say the origin of the fungus was in Mexico, but it reached Ireland through the US
Ironic that the fungus causing Ireland's potato famine originated in the US, since that was the exact country that the majority of those fleeing Ireland emigrated to.

'Good Friday' comes from the sense 'pious, holy' of the word "good". Less common examples of expressions based on this obsolete sense of "good" include "the good book" for the Bible, "good tide" for "Christmas"
No, it's technically Christ's resurrection that Easter is a celebration of.
Notice how the worst you'll usually get when mocking Christianity is criticism/arguments? Now try posting something mocking Islam/Mohammed in this way and tell me how it goes for you :)
Fun fact: the 666 mentioned in the book of Revelations was meant to be code for Emporer Nero, and the "mark of the beast" on currency that's mentioned is referring to the Roman denarius coinage that had Nero's face on it.
This might be it, but I'm not sure if this is a separate repo for what looks to be the beta build of nostr.build hosted at https://nostr-build.vercel.app/
