to learn to code all of this i need another life.
for me cheap is $0 recycled from friends.
KEyboard costs $5.... your i5 at least $400 in my town, is this cheap for you?
i5 is newer than my machines. I live in a poor country at country side ;) Imagine living in Cuba, an i5 is a power machine.
By the way Youtube is working with 1080k it is not old enough.... Why nostr being more simple, clients are doing it hard to run on cheap machines?
Gossip is not working for me on my cheap debian machine! Let's simplify more please!
People paying for getting their verify on NIP-05.
Then #[0] spoke and told us what is nostr. Nostr is not a protocol to build a social network on top. Now I understand why I have troubles with almost all clients I tried.
I want to run my own relay for private purposes and dont trust in any root at all, even with certificates and verification with keypairs. I run my servers at home I can unplug them if I want or get tired. That is the philosophy.
It suppose to be simple but it is impossible to run any nostr client on CHEAP HARDWARE. You loose devs.
I would like to code my own nostr client to run it at my own. For example, I want to save events on my local db to what it offline... I will do it.
no. isn't the same. you can read events from a pubkey and you can not fetch events related to another event on the relay.... that is the diference. I hope you understand-
