Are you asking for nostr specifically? There is no nostr-native way of posting videos/images, not yet at least. Currently you have to host it somewhere and post the URL for that particular resource.

Latest kind 0 is the only truth. I’d say it’s a bug if a client broadcast a new kind 0 event with old data
