Yep, same. It will be the mark of this decade. Incomplete data and statistical inference.
Drivers are too much data, localised/client processing, disjointed networks, data ownership and privacy, imperfect real-time, etc.
It feels so unnatural for developers.. yet it’s closer to how natural systems function - data is never perfect, consistent or complete.
WebTransport spec could be interesting for Nostr. Websockets, but multiple connections over a single steam which avoids head of line blocking, and are lighter weight (using wrapped TLS UDP).
The saddest day for a government will be when they can’t pick anymore little images for their fiat bank notes.
I’d wager politicians. Paid organised crime with legal immunity - you can be absolutely terrible, lie, cheat, insider-deal, do nothing, fulfil your power trips dreams, and not lose your job - then a generous early pension. Plus get those sweet corporate jobs after for your ‘relationships’.
Anyone using or experimenting with Nostr + Cassandra?
And anyone have Postgres table partitions they found work well? Like created_at + kind?

Redis is working fine for me atm, but I see a rabbitMQ migration if Nostr continues to grow - especially for multi-region architecture.

Once you have certain content, there’s little reason you can’t put different ‘over-the-wire’ in front of it. Torrent, IPFS, p2p, relay, REST.
And I think Nostr can only grow stronger and more resistant with diversity here.
And if we have a way to contribute to cost of storage/query/downloading content, they can share that same mechanism.
If you use Nostr on the command line or want to, I made a couple useful tools I use often and may be useful.
“Free sats? LNURL1DP68GURN8GHJ7MR9VAJKUEPWD3HXY6T5WVHXXMMD9AKXUATJD3CZ7MTG8Y6XSECK8YAUU”
Previously was one.
I’ve seen a fair few bots using the same tactic and message. I filtered them a while back. 99% sure it’s the same person.
However, I hadn’t seen them try replicate someone’s account with as much effort.
Well, if a % share goes to a developer and a % goes to the primary recipient.
Is it two invoices? Is it a single invoice to the developer who pays forward minus the fee, etc.
Do you know how lightning payment/zap splitting implemented?
I’m interested in the concept, but didn’t find much where I can learn about it.
I think we have a huge community of all kinds of contributors, which is awesome.
The biggest challenge is the subset lazy persona who literally makes no effort and takes 10 seconds to blindly complain, which cascades out to dozens of minutes or even hours in support to try verify, review and respond.
They are eternal.
