In extreme conditions where is cold, is dificult to walk with snow and all is full of cliffs, just go down, usually is not easy or even possible. There no trails o signs. I dont think I would eat nobody but also I know and didnt have that extreme experience, I have some experience in high mountains trying to survive and I can tell you, your mind change to survival mode and you have different logical thinking.
