Good morning nostr, its monday and i have a few things left to prep for christmas. We'll most likely have family staying at the cabin, so i need to prep for that. We dont do tradional food for christmas, and my husband is in charge of making a big pot of his chili. Not sure if he'll use beef or venison for the meat, to me its all good. Anyway, it'll be a day of last minute prep, but i'll make time for a walk with Lucy. Good morning nostr, today we have church first, then i need get home and water some plants, spread more compost, and maybe do some trail maintenance. Yesterday, we ran into one of our local sheriff deputies, and we had a chance to talk for a bit. Living in the country, the sheriff's office is usually called first in case of emergencies. I liked him because he genuinely seems to care about doing his job well and helping folks in need. Very down to earth, and he even gave us his cell number if we ever had issues or just questions about anything. I dont generally like having anything to do with law enforcenent, but from first impressions this guy is solid. Could come in handy someday.
