Synchronizing is taking so long.... looking forward to seeing how this compares with the umbrel I have been running for the last 4 years...! #start9 https://nostpic.com/media/b3e562e748e221cb9a0283e82ca88c9cd1ae561fe4124d99b946d6e6d81fad9a/21457e465fb375a9082cad262783a602541313570ca379c47232d2498941d28b.webp

Im doing something similar with a car purchase. Sold old car for 7200 bought that much BTC to hold (currenty apx 10k) and financed newer car for 22k from personal savings. Holding BTC and making myself payments until I have myself paid back.

Get outside the financial system and live in a system of your own making.

If every asset on Earth was priced in time instead of dollars, what would be expensive?

Let’s say we stopped measuring value in dollars, no more price tags, no more currencies. Just time. Your hours, effort and your life.

A $10 fast food meal might not seem like much…

Until you realize you traded 30 minutes of your life to eat something that takes 3 minutes to regret

That “free” checking account?

It costs an hour

A house with a big mortgage?

35 years of your prime working life, plus interest.

When we price things in dollars, we disconnect from the real cost because dollars can be printed, time can’t.

Spending 40 years grinding, only to retire into a currency that’s been devalued by half?

That’s really expensive!

What’s cheap when priced in time?

Learning to self-custody your bitcoin and taking the time to understand money. It might take a few hours

But it could buy you back decades of freedom!

Bitcoin doesn't just store money, it stores your time

Hard work, late nights and sacrifices. All captured in a form that can’t be debased or inflated

When the price of everything is your time you stop asking, “How much does it cost?”

And start asking: “Is it worth my life?”

If every asset on Earth was priced in time instead of dollars, fiat would be the most expensive thing you own.

Time is not fungible. Even though we all have the same 24 hrs a day, the way we each spend it changes the value of that time. This is why humanity needs a store of value, aka "energy, time, effort" that can be fungible and traded with. Bitcoin is the most perfect store of value that has been invented and solves this problem.

Billionaires in Fiat will become more plentiful as the dollar continues to degrade in value.

I see what your saying... same amount of energy expended per bitcoin but divided as much as one wants doesn't make more bitcoin or dilute the value.. and doesn't make more SATs it would make fractions of SATs as they are now currently defined as 0.00000001 of a BTC

Infinitely divisible bitcoin is the same as no limit on the number of bitcoin that can be created. What do you think of this statement? Let's debate this idea... #bitcoin

Psa 62:10-12

10. Do not trust in what you can gain by oppression! Do not put false confidence in what you can gain by robbery! If wealth increases, do not become attached to it! 11. God has declared one principle; two principles I have heard: God is strong, 12. and you, O Lord, demonstrate loyal love. For you repay men for what they do.

One of the properties of Bitcoin is divisibility. But we cant divide a single Satoshi to a smaller amount already. Makes one think if this is an important property right now or will it become a problem 100 years from now when one Sat is worth a days wages

Realestate was the major way baby boomers were able to shield their wealth from inflation. Those who rented lost out on that generations wealth..

Bitcoin is the current best way to opt out of inflation. Those who buy Altcoins/aka Crypto are going to miss out on this generations wealth.

Bitcoin = realestate.

Altcoins = tenants

Love this. Im looking at implementing this in my house with a Bitmain s19jpro that I ran for 2 years until it was losing money being used only as a miner. Turning it into an electric heater should revive the utility of this hardware for a bit longer.

No KYC and like minded bitcoiners.

What tax do you think is the most unethical and why?

Anyone have experience with interfacing a miner with central heating for heat harvesting from your ASIC miners?. Im wondering specifically about where to inject the BTC heat. Intake side? Upstream of the central heat fan and filter seems to make the most sense.. https://nostpic.com/media/b3e562e748e221cb9a0283e82ca88c9cd1ae561fe4124d99b946d6e6d81fad9a/89a81f8d82939fa07e02387daf6efc1bb5e1bf29ed730d7833a91de48745bfc2.webp

Dont discount the gmrs radios. A license is required but no testing involved. I think it is 30 bucks for a 10 year license thats good for your entire family. Power is allowed up to 50 watts and you can operate your own or use other private repeaters if they are open to extend your range.

I think the best thing we can do is make sure people understand the problem. Until they know that the current financial system is in serious trouble they wont be willing to research a solution.
