That's exactly what has been found, land use change and intensification of agriculture is the primary driver. Climate change is expected to make it worse though:

Welcome to politics!

As soon as it's deleted someone would claim the handle and start scamming people. Better to keep it as an archive and also as a pointer to nostr I guess

Is that a rollercoaster on the savannah or is this a giraffe in the park? 😁

That, and it's not even a bill yet, it's a proposal for a new regulation that won't go into effect for another 3 years after approval by the Council. To be clear, it's far from approval and these things are rarely approved unaltered. Also, this regulation doesn't even apply to individuals, but is aimed towards financial service companies.

But apparently the Sessions new motto is:

"trust, don't verify" πŸ€”

Don't fall for the misinfo Ben. This concerns a *proposal* for a law, that only addresses CASPs (Crypto Asset Service Providers), not individuals, and would come into effect earliest in 2027 if approved by Parliament and Council unaltered today. Hint: it won't

Apparently, Elon choose violence today, and gave @ODELL a blue surveillance check
