Still, genuinely interested if 1) you gave the debunk a chance (it's not easy going against your own confirmation bias), 2) did it make you more skeptical towards the original
Science is the process of questioning. Two essential ingredients though: being verifiable and being falsifiable.
It's very telling and a sad state of affairs when people think watching a YouTube video equals "don't trust, verify"
Instead I'd encourage anyone who's genuinely interested to read up on Fourier's equations (early 19th century), the ground breaking work of Foote and Tyndall who discovered how the "greenhouse effect" works in the 1850s and Arrhenius who made accurate predictions on radiative forcing around 1900.
This is all science that's uncontaminated by the FED, which was only established in 1913 đ
The nostr:npub1pu3vqm4vzqpxsnhuc684dp2qaq6z69sf65yte4p39spcucv5lzmqswtfch team is making empanadas together as part of our retreat.

Enjoy the empanadas đ
Next up... make an Android client together? đ
Interested to hear your opinion on the debunk of it too đ
To be honest, this raised a lot of questions about the original...
We slaughter approximately 150,000 animals (not counting fish) every single minute of every single day. It was interesting to watch the outrage about a single squirrel đżïž
Iâm confused. What is gay about a big bearded NFL superbowl winner dating the most famous and popular women in pop music? Isnât this the straightest celebrity relationship possible?
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/taylor-swift-reacts-jason-kelces-153058423.html
Is it gay because Taylor Swift is successful woman who is wealthier than her also rich and successful football star boyfriend?
It's "small dick energy"
Say stupid shit, win stupid prizes... đ
One obvious question would have been why he scams people out of their hard earned money with his shitcoining.
Another, imo more important one, would have been why Trump allowed Assange to be charged with bullshit charges under his watch by a guy he appointed (Pompeo) for reporting on war crimes.
But I guess we're in an age where all that matters is that your underbelly feels nice
You searched for Bitcoin? đ
Never mind... bitcoin volume is right there in the screenshots đ Coffee needed
If it doesn't exist already (I've never come across it here), then crowdfunding this might be an idea. I'd be happy to contribute. The combination of a raffle and zaps could even open some new doors
I just saw Satoshi, and she was a commie dressed as a guy đ
Framadate is a good one
Your personal graph becomes the holy grail.
In 2011 I wrote 3 articles about this in Dutch:
1. We're giving away everything
https://sebastix.nl/blog/we-geven-alles-weg/
2. Personal data are outlawed
https://sebastix.nl/blog/persoonlijke-data-zijn-vogelvrij/
3. Your personal graph

They are very related to Nostr in someway so I would like to republish them in English.
What good translation services / tools are out there which I can use?
#askNostr
These days I just go with ChatGPT, does a good job also at technical texts and is much more context aware than Google Translate and similar told
OK, so Elon not only wants your financial details, he also wants your medical records now. What could possibly go wrong đ€Š
You use a lot of words, but never show any data to back it up and try to distract as soon as you're called out.
There's GDP data for 4 years under Trump and 4 years under Biden/Harris. Can you explain how those numbers underpin your statement that it's obvious that Trump will grow GDP more than Harris, either "real" or nominal?
Btw, GDP is still a bullshit measure
The facts disagree with your assumptions though. Does this bother you at all?
Under Trump GDP increased from 18.8 to 21.3 trillion USD. Under Biden it increased to an estimated 29 trillion USD in 2024, more than double Trump's growth rate. If you'd walk your talk you'd vote Harris đ.
For the record: GDP measured in a money you can just print is the dumbest measure in human history.
And finally: Trump already ran massive deficits before COVID because of his trillion dollar tax cuts for the rich. During COVID, he again choose to stimulate demand rather than supply with his stimulus cheques. Both were big contributing factors to later inflation
Trump holds 2nd place for *increasing* the debt to GDP ratio in recent history (25% in a single year đ€Ż). Only Bush in 2001 did worse.
As long as you increase the debt/GDP ratio you can grow GDP all you like but it won't help
