I recently finished Jack's Simplified Compost Bioreactor Course and today I constructed my own bioreactor. All that's left is to fill it and hook up the watering system. This was an easy and fun project.

Do ya'll remember months ago when I posted about planting out a #cacao nursery? Well, those plants have mostly prospered and little by little they are getting transplanted into their permanent homes. The goal for this week is to get the last of nearly 1500 baby trees in the ground.

Day three of rehydrating a sourdough starter. So far, so good, I think. I've never really done this before, but it's still bubbling, so I'm assuming that means that the flour and water feed I gave it is being consumed still. And it is slowly starting to get a bit of a vinegar smell. I guess that was supposed to happen on day two, but it's moving a little bit slower. And everything that I've read says that it can take up to a week for it to be ready to bake with.
