Unfettered capitalism has done the literal *opposite* of generating wealth in the west in recent decades. It's made a few *individuals* very wealthy, but on the whole western economies have done very badly at even keeping people at the levels they were at in the '70s, not to mention expanding their economic situation.
And the fewer fetters on the capitalism, the worse the outcomes.
Well, we do not have «unfetted» capitalism. We have a system of centrally planned rates with monetary expansion that caters to a few cantillionaires close to the money printer. That does not sound like capitalism to me.

Yes, as it is today, you will pay miners if you are motivated enough to have arbitrary data to big to fit in op_return. Better to remove the limit and have them bid for the space with fees.
