It does look like a Texan, but not a Texan Korean. Haha.

I'd go with Jason Wrich here.

The face looks familiar. James Damore?

What's the government connotation here?

EU Macro Ponzi: Some fascinating stuff from Italy.

August - Italy imposes 40% windfall tax on banks because of their unfair excess profits (from lending to the government at non-zirp interest rates)

September - They tweak the terms in order to allow the banks to limit the excess tax burden if the banks increase their reserve buffers (government bonds holdings)

Basically they are so desperate because no one's buying their bonds that they have to blackmail the banks with 40% taxes.

Some gem quotes:

"Italy will revisit a contested windfall tax on banks by giving lenders the option to boost their reserve buffers instead of paying the levy."

"The new terms favour banks that hold a higher proportion of government bonds among their assets because they carry a zero risk weight."

"Rome intends to use revenues from the levy to fund tax cuts and state guarantees on loans to small and medium-sized enterprises."

"Italy's antitrust body will monitor banks to make sure they don't charge customers more for services to offset the levy, the amendment said."

1) Counter the pre-bunking. Refer to it as a Money Reform instead of CBDC. That has the proper communist connotations and resemblance of 1953.

2) Throw Slovakia in first as a test 🙃. No seriously, why Brussels doesn't want to adopt it in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France for 10 years first to prove that the experimental money reform doesn't have side effects.

3) There's not enough WeChat oppression stories in the whole West. Some of those dissident stories might be interesting even for the progressive/liberal/pro-refugees groups of the society.

It's hard to pierce the bubble without showing/experiencing the pain. And the other side is smart, they will lead with the benefits and save the pain for later.

What's your daily meal intake look like? Are you refusing to supplement with protein powder and trying to get all protein from the meat only?

Idk understand your goal, but it doesn't seem to fit the low time preference healthy body, tbh.

Is this the direction you're pointing out to?

Expectations - being the most probable outcome of the next event

Faith - is rather unrelated to specific individual event outcomes, and rather about strongly believing in some principals.

People use them interchangeably, which is fine in some contexts, but they can also have very different meanings.

Assuming that you have in mind the *positive* expectations here, it reminds me of this famous Havel quote.

I think that faith and hope are synonyms in this context.

Why did they opt in for the HR police jurisdiction?

Catchy format, nostr:npub1t8a7uumfmam38kal4xaakzyjccht4y5jxfs4cmlj0p768pxtwu8skh56yu. Now do Lagarde, JPM, HSBC, ... It would be a cool playing/trading cards series.

Is it hotter than your old space heater? Because it sure does look like it is. 🔥🧡🔥

Exactly. It would be a really cool playground for the algos.

Your own algo with modifiable user-friendly knobs and dials for tuning the reels. Imagine you can tune it like an old radio by fine tuning all the knobs in the profile settings.
