nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev any thoughts on making your audiobooks v4v in public RSS?

Would there be maybe some older titles where you can convince the author and publishers to test it out?

It can help reaching new audience, and even revive the dissipating revenue streams.

Could be a nice case study at minimum costs.

Saifhouse or Guy Swan should hop on the opportunity and experiment. I want to have the way to pay the authors (with fair split to publishers, void actors) *directly* for the audio versions.

And if I can just easily find it in my podcast app, that's the ideal distribution UX for me.

You know how all family has to stick with using the WhatsApp / iMessage because mom would never switch.

Soon, the whole world would have to use Nostr because Dan would never switch.

Moms and Dans are the most important intolerant minorities.

Yes, nothing wrong about the first two. They would be stupid to play it otherwise and not leverage their media platforms.

NVK point - Still, no Ten31 company is getting the OpenSats grants.

So the concern is that few votes on OpenSats might have incentive against funding opensource projects potentially competing with Ten31 companies? (Seedsigner)

- I take that. But there are measures (Odell and NVK are 2/9 board members) and community and donators pressure on the whole Board to minimize the risk of them playing favorites

I would not be surprised if the two retire from the Board at some point, and the criticism will of their influence won't stop... I guess the open market for donations is the only solution.

Any actively Ten31-funded (or other VC) entity which received grant from OpenSats out there?

I'm pretty sure it's one of the factors which pretty much disqualifies you from getting the grant. Respectively, the funds are targeted for not profit seeking projects (unlike the standard VC investments).

I agree that people with lot of influence across community media, VCs, Debs, plebs are centralizing factors, and you should have increased skepticism and scrutiny against those. Especially if they start monopolizing their influence over whatever part of the ecosystem.

But this seems like baseless shitting over all the OpenSats work and contributors - Gigi, and dozens of others, who are donating their time for no money... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Bitcoin Fixes This:

- Figure 14: High income earners are much more likely to receive wage increase even without asking.

- Figure 18: High income earners (and Democrats) are much more likely to blame businesses for the inflation.

(Lower income earners, and republicans are more likely to blame the Government or Biden.)

- Figure 19: Low income earners are stressed about being able to afford essentials and rent; high income earners are stressed about investment losses.

Shellenberger? Why?

Don't know his work that much, but feels quite honest.

Community banks? Credit unions/co-ops?
