Recording and re-recording sound.

Aaron Daniel’s ideas around using decentralized tools like #Nostr for dispute resolution are very interesting. Really makes Anarcho-capitalist ideas like DROs seem implementable.

Fair points. In my experience with introducing it to friends, WOS seems like game tokens whereas Strike and especially Cashapp feels more like venmo or PayPal which is what they are used to.

I think people’s mental models can shift, but this has been my experience. Use and appreciate all 3.

One of the cool things about lightning is the interoperability.

For normies who have no idea about #bitcoin, WOS is really easy but it doesn’t make #Bitcoin feel like money. So the next question is, how can I buy something/pay my rent with this. Once that clicks, Strike and Cashapp all day.

Things are moving so fast in #Nostr.

👀 fantastic! Will this make it to #NDK and ndk-svelte-components?

Looks like you’ll have to be communicating with a relay implementation that supports nip42 ([AUTH] request).

I believe nostr-rs-relay does.

Looks like nip42 can be implemented with nostr-tools.

https://github.com/nbd-wtf/nostr-tools/blob/master/nip42.ts

https://github.com/nostr-dev-kit/ndk

Or with #NDK

// Import the package, NIP-07 signer and NDK event

import NDK, { NDKNip07Signer, NDKEvent } from "@nostr-dev-kit/ndk";

const nip07signer = new NDKNip07Signer();

const ndk = new NDK({ signer: nip07signer });

Code formatting probably looks like crap in this note. Check the link.
