Me as well, unless he was geniunely just talking about more tools for users to moderate content themselves. They already do “pre-moderation” behind the scenes so I am skeptical of that. Maybe if they start to take decentralization more seriously and the issues that crop up with that (follower counts, etc) then I would feel more confident. It just looks like its going down the wrong path.

Why are humans obsessed with “vibe checking“ and “moderation” in online spaces. People are very different across the entire population, if you’re trying to curate vibes on a decentralized network then by definition you are excluding a huge percentage of the world, and are exercising power in an unreasonable way just because you are an engineer on the network.
