There are few things more rewarding for a pilot than breaking out of the clouds right at minimums on an instrument approach with the runway right off your nose on a low IFR day. I got to enjoy this treat today and #[0]​ and I sunset flight on the way back as a bonus.

Yeah inTune requires Play Services in the work profile but it wont create it to copy them into in the first place. Will enquire with the dev team to see if there is any possible resolution and get back to you.

A Lightning node doesn't need to be some fancy server that a sys admin runs. That is only needed if you're trying to be a high availability routing node.

For the average user their phone can be a lightning "node" and you can abstract away most of the complexities.

OK, all you "it's just for small payments" custodial Lightning apologists.

I would love to hear nuanced arguments that refute these claims:

1. Adopting custodial wallets now "for small amounts" will lead to slower growth and adoption for proper, approachable self-sovereign setups, both now and in the future

2. Using custodial wallets provide zero privacy from the custodian, w/ zaps tying your nostr identity directly to any other payments you make as a result

3. Once better options are out there for self-sovereign LN, people won't switch because they'll be fully entrenched in the convenience of custodial wallets

4. Often, using custodial LN wallets isn't even using LN at all, as it's just shifting around numbers in a database (Strike>Strike, WoS>WoS, etc.)

5. If the majority of users are adopting custodial LN wallets, there will be far less funding and social pressure for better self-sovereign setups, proper privacy tools (BOLT 12, alias SCIDs, route blinding, etc.) due to so few actual potential users

I’m thinking ~10k sats/month (5k/month if you take advantage of the discount).

I won’t spill the beans on details but a few new feature teasers:

- User configurable global views on filter.nostr.wine (different “filters” outside of follows+follows)

- Supplemental private relay(s) (only paid members can READ+write)

- Special event relay(s)

We’ve been thinking about the best sustainable subscription model for filter.nostr.wine (and our other upcoming features + additional relays) while still keeping nostr.wine accessible with only a one-time payment.

Haven’t built anything yet, but here’s what we came up with:

- Same one-time admission fee for nostr.wine (18888) sats gets you write access to nostr.wine and 1 month of access to filter.nostr.wine (+ others)

- After the first month included, filter.nostr.wine will require an ongoing monthly fee (amount tbd). You will receive a DM with a link to add time to your account in advance of its expiration.

- On the website you will be able to choose the amount you want to pay (minimum 1 month fee). We will automatically convert this amount in to days of access.

- Purchases over 6 months will automatically have their time doubled (1 year+ is 50% off). Perhaps a lesser discount for 3+ months?
