Just read through the comnents on this thread and it's hard for me to imagine. I was a late bloomer and got my license in my 20s. I was a burden to everyone, there is no form of public transportation and walking is out of the question as the closest crappy grocery store is like 8 miles away and a big grocery and big box store are around 12 to 20 miles away. The places we live do dictate these milestone life events 🤷♀️.

Mine isn't cars, I smoke cigars and drink scotch and bourbon with the guys. I wash my face with shampoo and occasionally wear makeup. My hairstyle is a side braid. I get razzed to no end and actually got asked to twirl when I wore a dress and heels to the cigar lounge. They're my boys and I'm like a mama hen and I wouldn't have it any other way. But I do love getting a pedicure and most times if I get my nails done it's black or a dark colored shellac polish. Jeans, t-shirts, and side braids for the win 🎉. Tomboys4lyfe 😂😂

She and you are in my thoughts. As a person who just went through all the things, make sure you take a couple hours to get some solid rest. No one benefits from you running yourself ragged trying to do everything. The nurses will take care of her 🫂💜.
