Oh hey, happy Saturday! I hope everyone is getting out there doing fun and productive things!
Today it looks like what I'll be doing is meditating, then shoveling shit, then meditating some more ๐ ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐ผ๐ฉ
Today in psy gym we did a group meditation centered on Archangel Chamuel. I haven't worked with angels much before but it was a very lovely meditation and very emotional for us all. Energy is amplified in groups, even remotely.
In the guided meditation it asked that we focus on the color pink and feel the love wash over us. At first this felt easy, because I like to think of myself as a positive loving person. But then we were asked to go deeper and deeper, twelve layers down in our hearts. I found buried that deep I have a lot of anger and tension there. Letting go of that was exceptionally difficult because those emotions, that state of being, it's what helped me survive a lot of trifling nonsense.
Finally that pink energy began to infiltrate that darkness. Slowly it began loosening those knots. Eventually it fell away and it was a beautiful feeling of release. What I find funniest about these exercises is that they always speak in our language. For me at that moment I finally let go of that anger, I saw Elle Woods floating in pink stars and she said, "what like it's hard?"
In the gateway experience we are taught color breathing. They only focus on green for reducing emotional energy, red for increasing physical abilities, and purple for healing the body. Very utilitarian. After this meditation I cannot help but feel sad at such a tremendous oversight to not include pink for love and peace ๐๐๐๏ธ๐ผ
