It can be used to encrypt / decrypt messages (for e2ee messages like email), but also for signing data. For example code I commit to repositories is signed using my gpg key. If you want to verify that a commit was indeed pushed by me, you can verify the signature on it.
Many developers sign their releases as well. For example when you download Sparrow Wallet you can get an additional signature file to verify that the release was indeed created by nostr:npub1hea99yd4xt5tjx8jmjvpfz2g5v7nurdqw7ydwst0ww6vw520prnq6fg9v2
How does one get that from bip85. Doesn’t bip85 just produce 12 or 24 word seed phrase? How does that translate to a PGP?

I find these points pointless. We can spend all day bringing up the failings of others. How does that help? Where is the actionable benefit? Who does it benefit more to spread hatred and rankor for our leaders? Especially when we are not much different or better. I only see it benefitting the west.

All I ask is that you don’t be ‘one of those guys’ who only see things to complain about and nothing to be optimistic about. Arab leaders are like any other human beings and Muslims on planet earth. They make errors and do righteous things. We ask Allaah to rectify their affairs and to make them a positive for the ummah.
Maybe we all should ask ourselves, what does it mean to be a dutiful Muslim to the muslimeen, and not a blight who only has venom to spit at us. Is there nothing that ksa gets right?
