The really unfortunate reality is that a LOT of scholars are simply pro-CBDC, and in my view that opinion is extremely dangerous. They think they are protecting ppl from Bitcoin while literally leading them to the fire 🔥. What an absolute shame.

FR. I think it comes down to what we are fed. On Nostr you get feeds from things you want to see from ppl you follow. There you get fed things they want you to see. Like yesterday i made a post showing that the UK has a rape problem, not Pakistan, and immediately I got some random right winger posting some 💩 on my feed. What does that mean? Twitter fed him what they knew would enrage him and cause him to lash out on me, to bait me to lash out on him. Hence more engagement and ads. That’s what it’s all about. And nothing gets more attention than rage porn.
I am so done with twitter. It won’t allow me to post anything negative about it nor encourage ppl to move to Nostr. It’s absolutely crazy. Check the thread

Yeah, I’ve been following his account for years now. Life changing things I’ve heard from it. Check out his many years of video posting. It’s hard to find something objectionable.
My position is quite clear on this. Every Muslim country, minus those plunged into war by external bodies, are safer and better than the west. Hijrah remains the best option in my opinion.
The issue I have with the ‘unreported cases’ is that it’s not just unreported in the east while all being reported in the west. Just as not everything falls in the net in Pakistan I’m sure not all falls in the net in the west, but even with what does, it’s extremely high. So if we say that at least ‘half’ in both sides are not being reported, that literally means that the uk is at the least 100-200 per 100,000, and Pakistan would be 4-6 per 100,000. Even if we inflated things in Pakistan and made it like 10x more, that’s still less than half the UK.
The point is, I think the point being made in the video is still sound and valid. It’s not US who have the problem, it’s the west. Yes, crime happens everywhere, but as a woman you’re more safe in Pakistan surrounded by Pakistanis than in the UK. That’s my main takeaway
