Roast picanha and smoked bone marrow. Don’t mind if I do

I deleted twitter 4weeks ago on my first day of holiday. The wife requested we try less tech for the week.

It was actually quite easy. I went on twitter last night, just dipped my toe in to see if I was missing anything. Turns out it was the same old shit. Lots of fighting videos, bots and scammers amongst a tiny bit of signal. Turns out #nostr is all I need and it sucks up hardly any of my attention.

So young people need to save more for retirement. Well this all seems sensible. But save in what? I know my answer but. The author here says that no pension manager predicted that pension pits would need to raise from £68k to £107k in 3years. What they fail to highlight is that you may build a £107k pension but if you’re 30 now, what will you actually need in 37years to keep your purchasing power? Would £250k be conservative? What about £500k??

I know what I’m saving in but I do worry about everyone pouring more into there pension to hit some magic number that keeps getting higher and higher as the money supply is continuously debased. Makes me really sad and mad all at the same time.

Oh yes, fully on board with that. I know they say you need to get past the first 4years (I’m on year 3) so just need to be patient. But it still tests ones resolve. I mean I’m not planning on selling (ever) or at least for a very long time. But even so… 🤦🏻‍♂️🥹

I like the salt. Makes it a bit more moorish and somehow lifts the flavour of the coffee. It’s almost like a nice broth to start the day with.

GM #nostr pissing it down in Blighty

Anyone else have a knob of butter in their coffee? I take mine salted and it’s delicious

This is indeed a good sight. Next level is milling it your self at home. Bit like fresh ground coffee it has more flavour and increased nutrients. 🤌🏻

Totally agree. First time I tried at a farm a few years ago I was astounded at the flavour. Like trying a proper cucumber for the first the compared to the insipid super market ones. We had a micro dairy in Stroud that was raw but sadly they closed a few weeks back. No idea where to get it from now easily
