Living in Japan and wondering how much BTC you would need to sell to survive on the JPY shitcoin for X amount of years?
I made a small website that does just that:
You can:
- input your expenses,
- add/remove/disable cards,
- set your yearly income to set the starting tax bracket
- set your average BTC purchase price and projected (*hopium*) sale price
It calculates the BTC necessary to sell and the taxes that would incur and the BTC that would be necessary to pay for those taxes.
For easier understanding a conversion between USD or EUR is also implemented.
If you have other ways to get JPY, that can be input in "Loan Amount" and therefore reduces the BTC needed to sell.
It's all running client-side and the only API call done is to get the live conversion rates between JPY and USD/EUR.

Interesting. I had the same experience. Started using Nostr, got bored and ignored it up until a few days ago. Hadn't been using Twitter, etc. as well.
So maybe users just need to "detox" from social media in general and then they can start fresh on Nostr without getting addicted again.
