Not yet; but Paradise awaits Jesus/God's own beloved ones...π«ππ
> "Romantic Love goes counter to Christian Love..."
Not so!π― Only if undisciplined and unbridled. When coupled with self control and in appropriate context, romantic love is the unstoppable force that will ultimately be responsive to the very first Command of the Creator, the mandate to be fruitful and fill all of creation with reflections of God's image.

One need not be a "younger man" to suffer an "insane emotional rush."ππ€£π It can still happen in one's sixties or seventies... and, I imagine that antediluvian man experienced such delightful surprises all the way into his 900's...π
I fully expect to be "plagued" by romance, by the kind gifting of Jesus/God, quite literally *forever*.

Thank you...
I just read the intro there...
How does this compare to Cashu in terms of:
* privacy
* centralization
* custody
* immunity from state attack
* etc?
Thanks for links, insights, etc.
Question:
Do you have alternate/superior solution(s) to propose?π€β
This is a BRILLIANT illustration.π

Your perspective is crucially important to understanding any situation. Take the time to understand the perspectives of those around you!

So, here's how I share nostr notes on the web:
1) Substitute a few characters in the Note ID like this:

nostr.com/nevent1qqsy...qyyel782
2) Shorten it at https://w3.do/

What would it take for nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 to support the iPadOS/iOS [Share] feature that's common in various other apps?
For example in Duolingo I can "share" an achievement to π or Meta/Facebook like I did here:

Also, what's the best way to share a #NOSTR note or event over the web?
I would love to phase out direct posting to π and shift towards posting new content on #NOSTR with links to π and other social media. Grow the NOSTR community by guiding my (admittedly not impressive number) of followers towards it.
Basically getting sick of π's continued decline and was long ago disgusted by Facebook's policies and algorithmic manipulation of my feed.

These are worth pondering:
1. One mark of a smart person is the ability to learn from people they donβt like.
2. The most powerful productivity tool ever invented is simply the word "no."
3. Rich people have money. Wealthy people have time.
4. Writing is often the process by which you realize that you do not understand what you are talking about.
5. 90 percent of success is not getting distracted.
6. Short-term results come from intensity. Long-term results come from consistency.
7. Clear writing gives poor thinking nowhere to hide.
8. The quicker you want something, the easier you are to manipulate.
9. If you want new ideas, read old books.
10. First-principles thinking is a competitive advantage because almost no one does it.
11. Talent and potential mean nothing if you can't consistently do the boring things when you don't feel like doing them.
12. The greatest trap is telling yourself that youβll do something important tomorrow. Procrastination creates negative momentum.
13. Make your next project something people will ask you about for the rest of your life.

So I see that while I composed my very long "question," several others have chimed in.... Thank you, nostr:nprofile1qyd8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn5dpjhxctdv43kzapwd9hj7qglwaehxw309ahx7um5wgknqv3wv3hhyctxv93hgmmj0yhx7un89uqjqamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wv45kuatwv3a8wctw0f5kwtnnwpskxef0qqsxx730rkja9lqewmq5asq036hyq9d0axdmy420r4fh6qyx595amrck9775r and others for expanding the discussion, and thank you again, nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgcwaehxw309ahx7um5wghxvmt59emkj73wvf5h5tcpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchsqgzsm98u9kzcp35zkpc62shck8335gqtq5yt4w26xwl0pp2a72qavv2wy9vn , for your work and for your explanations.
I will continue my study and hopefully move forward with this, one halting step at a time!ππ

I have been reading your posts and those of others about Cashu with considerable interest. I've been "orange" for many years now, and a very strong proponent of the separation of money and the state. A cofounder and I have recently launched a local area bitcoin meetup. We are hoping to establish a strong circular bitcoin economy in our neighborhood. Your reports of existing and future developments in the technology sound very appealing to me for that purpose. Another gentleman (whose nym I forget at the moment) has been testing the use of Cashu over LoRaWAN nodes, and I imagine setting up such a standalone mesh system in our area. I mention all these things so you will know that I am very interested in and appreciative of the work you are doing.
And so, before going all-in on Cashu, due diligence moves me to learn more and to try and understand the ins and outs of Cashu and to evaluate to what degree the FUD leveled against it by nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnkv46z7qpqxvtwx6tduaxnn9v3y7uasskl277achgu0tu2qncmc7hdsz6y2zyqwe9eex or others has any merit in reality. And I see now that you have comprehensively responded to him on the Stacker News thread, and I find your response there very helpful and instructive, Thank You.
In your reply to nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpzfmhxue69uhkummnw3e82efwvdhk6tcqyqe3dcmfdhn56wv4jynmnkzzmatmmhzar3a03gz0r0r6akqtg3ggsxvdtaf you have certainly addressed the questions of individual privacy and of the custodial nature of Cashu and consequent precautions when using it. However, in light of recent state attacks on various bitcoin wallets, companies, and individuals, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please address the question(s) of exposure to and risk from predatory state actors for those who would create and operate mints and/or other necessary infrastructure in support of a community using Cashu? If you have already addressed this somewhere, a link or links would be more than adequate.
Thank you again for your work on this;ππ»ππ« I do appreciate the unfunded, open-source nature of your efforts, and hope that if and as our community begins to deploy the technology, value will return to you.
