Expensive now, but it won't be. We already have a higher level of control over stem cells than we ever will over the sun or wind. Demand will increase quality & efficiency, in time, just like everything else. I doubt quality would be on par with true food, but for people who may have a hard time acquiring protein sources, any is better than none. I'm definitely an opt out type on the topic but globally, I think this could have a huge impact on quality of life for many over the next couple decades. Beyond that, my concern is being priced out of real meat. I could raise animals but I don't really want to π there's a lot about modern living that I actually enjoy... not needing to deal with livestock being one of them.
3D printed goat then? π
π my thoughts exactly... but I could see it being a good stopgap for times of shortage or in places with a high level of food insecurity. I have a feeling it will become much bigger than that though and some day true beef will be a luxury item.
π€ I'm was going to bed but i fell into this rabbit hole... Now but I'm curious what kind of thoughts you all have on printed meat?
(I'll be reading any responses over tomorrow's morning coffee)
Welp, I own about 1/3 as many clothes now as I did this morning
I feel compelled to brag a little for... reasonsπ
I hope it's been a wonderful day π

Soaking new black t-shirts in a sinkful of cold water with a cup of white vinegar for 30 min before 1st wash helps prevent fading.
I don't know how well known that is but it's handy π
Housekeeping day π€¨
Ah, cool! I will have to screw around with this a bitπ
It'd be pretty neat if that search field also had a drop down for kind type, in layman's terms, too... or something similar... tabs seem like they would be a waste of resources
I bet that was an amazing night
