So, we used to have a channel that was nothing but the doppler radar 24/7 and they took it off of the air last year on the 1st day of hurricane season. :unimpressed:

Since then they have over predicted every storm so if we do get a really bad one ppl probably won't even believe them. 🙄

We don't have a waffle house here.

This morning they were explaining how the 100-200 mph winds stayed 1000 too 2000 feet above the ground.

According to them they never made it to the ground... but they were up there... :unimpressed: 😂

It may have reached cat 1 at some point but I think calling it a 3 was a bit.... oversensationlized... 😅

2 ppl died in car accidents and the weather channel blamed it on the storm.. 🥴

You could bet on the horses but

it wasn't live. There were all kinds

of races in different places on

a bunch of different screens.

It was too confusing for me tho

so I just stuck to the dogs.

Those were live races.

It was neat seeing all the teenage

kids with their prize dogs line

up and show their dogs before

the race.

I think they have banned

greyhound racing here in

the last few years tho if I

recall correctly. 🙁

I've been to the dog track a

few times and bet on the

greyhounds ... 💰

I've never been to the dino
