We humans have come a long way since our hunter gatherer days.
No longer do we stalk our prey in tree shadows. We've witnessed roots spread from seed, we've plowed and tended to the earth to conquer fields of crop. From the motion of falling apples we've learned to predict the destinations of celestial bodies and have come to command forces of nature such as electricity.

There is no doubt, humans have a drive to push the envelope on technology. Some might say that drive comes from our insatiable curiosity. Our thirst for knowledge propels us forward and makes us more efficient at everything we do. Others might call our constant push for efficiency nothing more than innate laziness.
This "laziness" we might say is really a longing to sit and admire the world around us, to enjoy the relationships we hold dear. To that end we seek new tools to cut the need for labor so we can spend less time shedding blood, sweat, and tears, working for our survival and more time enjoying the life we have.

We need more content creators here! The migration will happen when either a few big content creators come to nostr or when the social media giants connect to the protocol (then they'll be here by default)
As a new father (two babies under two) I really look up to men like your father. My parents divorced when I was 10 and I never had a chance to witness a man love my mother the way you describe your father's love for your mom and it pushes me to want to be the best man I can be for my wife and kids.
Im late to this post, but cheers to a great man!
It sounds foolish but the app is worth it for Budgeting. The cancel sub piece is for lazy folks though.
Zero dollar is a good one too, although I'm sure there aren't many fans of Dave Ramsey.
test works. — This is a comment on: https://yakihonne.com/flash-news/
I had trouble descibing to my buddy, why an ordinary instagram user should start using nostr. My buddy doesn't know anything about botcoin or decentralization really so I figured nostr might be a good entry point for him.
He couldn’t see a reason to maje the transition and I couldnt tug at his hear strings by appealing to the things we "bitcoiners" tend to use as rally cries.
How would you appeal to your average joe? What is the why that matters to them?
I think its more about people not caring enough to do the investigation of every app/thing they do. Like @GBKS said, they expect it to have already been done. Coming from the United States most people believe this is a given and choose not to investigate further. Little do they know.... How little they know.
Love this! Your profile is hilarious!
This is how we build community, well said my friend.
New version of Coracle is out! More cleaning house, since it's that time of year — but I did manage to slip in an update to Coracle's custom feeds which I'm extremely excited about:
It's now possible to bookmark other people's custom feeds! I know this sounds trivial, but just click the link below to see how powerful this is.
(sometimes the relay drops the connection and it fails to load. I'm not sure whose fault this is yet, just try again if that happens)
So what is this? It's a feed hand-built by me which uses the NIP-32 labels gleasonator.dev publishes to track trends. What does that mean? Coracle now has fully decentralized, shareable, algorithmic trending feeds! Who needs a caching server when you have this?!
For more details, take a look at the video demonstration I recorded this morning:
https://v.nostr.build/ml4rk.mp4
Full change log:
- [x] Show toast when offline
- [x] Use new indexeddb wrapper
- [x] Add `k` tag to deletions
- [x] Allow users to choose where to publish their profile when using a white-labeled instance
- [x] Add "open with" link populated by nip 89 handlers
- [x] Fix several community and calendar related bugs
- [x] Add reports using tagr-bot
- [x] Open links to coracle in same tab
- [x] Add global feeds
- [x] Add feed favorites
Just jumped on it and Im sold. Ill be using it any time im on my laptop. I love the relay reviews and the fact that you can jump in and interact with a relay before joining! Sweet feature. Cant wait until its on andriod!
I just started with mutiny wallet. What exactly happened? Your channel just disappeared? Or do you mean a connection with nostr? I think they just started with mutiny+ maybe thats what happened?
Do any members in this group feel the debt crisis that is happening in the EU? I've found a few youtube videos describing the problem but I'm noticing its not being reported on very well in the United States.
I'm looking to break free from Google drive and start an at home cloud. I'm currently looking at a two bay synology nos. I intend to store family photos and videos as well as start my own bitcoin and lightning node.
Am I on the right track or would anyone suggest something else.
PS: I do want something a little more out of the box and not so hobbyist like a raspberry pi.
I don't have Iphone and found Amethyst to be pretty good but I've recently jumped on the new coracle and my dude I'm liking it. I wish it was on android! I love the rate the relay feature that lets you see a star rating with feedback post as well as open, check out and interact with a relay before fully joining it
I actually really liked that movie when it came out. (I was like 13) Now I look back at it and confirm why Justin Timerlake's career as an actor never really took off... He sings nice though.
Absolute creepfest. It reminds me of a scene out of the backrooms.
Now, you might say this is a representation of what these new relays look like so early on in the life of Nostr! =)
First time I got in one (back in 2017) My mind shattered from the experience. It didn't feel like I was in car and driving it was an absolute pleasure.
