Every three months I have a surge of urgency and go to see if season two is out, and every three months I am disappointed. :(
Mike Judge is another one of those unsung heroes who has just cranked out masterpiece after masterpiece since my childhood.
Severance season one. Like some weird interface between Momento and Eternal Sunshine. Crazy sci fi tv series about a corporation with a very strange MK-Ultra-like classified work program.
Fucking classic show I was late to discover and about to rewatch here soon.
So, so good.
I’ve been getting nuked on every note lately.
I did a whole series of these with all my friends. Meticulously gathered shots piecemeal from 40-50 of them.
I will never forget the day that we hit 12 megapixels and I saw the first macro shot of an iris under light.
Hypnotized.
Absolutely hypnotized.
Human bodies are amazing.
Find myself actually looking forward to living in a 55+ neighborhood.
It’s only because of my goldbug neighbor in 2009 and 2010 that I had the foundation to understand bitcoin. Bless the goldbugs.
Inflation isn’t going down anytime soon. Past few months were just a local bottom.
Instant and deep feelings of vulnerability.
I was just walking on my usual trail when I heard some rustling branches a couple feet away. I kept walking casually, thinking it’s probably a deer.
Then I heard a loud grunt.
I know all the “black fight back” and what not but I was PETRIFIED. I got super hot and dizzy.
After the initial shock I slowly looked back to nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u who was about 20ft behind me and motioning to me not to run.
We began a brisk walk back to the car, the rustling moving parallel to us before abruptly stopping.
Hearts pounding, we made it home.
Moral of the story: be careful even on familiar trails, and be aware that sometimes you don’t respond how you think you might in a dangerous situation.
Only had one encounter at Yellowstone where I actually felt like I was being sized up. Ego-me had decided to forego the bear spray just the day before. Very humbling when it stood up. I carry bear spray now.
Nolan is the only reason I even bother with theaters at this point. I caved and bought out a whole row in 70mm IMAX and am taking a whole crew of friends next weekend. Been waiting over a year for this one, so the extra week is a full exercise in delayed gratification. Hoping it breaks in my top five:
Momento
Prestige
Inception
Tenet
Interstellar
Enjoy! Reply with your sentiment/review afterward if you get a moment.
Trying to make a small (~200,000 sat) tx and CashApp keeps refunding my bitcoin. Anyone else dealt with this weird issue?
-click send > add info > priority > confirm
-“you initiated a withdrawal for x sats”
-deducts the sats from my account
-30 seconds later re-credits the balance
Any ideas or similar experiences?
Just another idea about stashing private keys in plain sight.
The phrase “boiling the ocean”.
Just checked; mine’s still cold.
