bitcoiner, privacy enthusiast, nix user. Not setting zaps until there is non-DNS based way to do it.

Trademarks make SOME sense in terms of, if I put the hitachi logo on something not made py hitachi, it is fraud. Patents and copyright are bleh.

And the remake will never happen because they won't give up the rights

Well, these types of CAPCHAs have been obsolete for a number of years

Nobody to inherit the wealth?

I didn't know Copernicus watched youtube videos.

What if we replaced follower counts with some other addictive metric in Nostr clients -- but one that was specific to Nostr and could actually work reliably and not be gamed?

(No, I am not talking about zaps, these can also be gamed, and this is not a trivia question, I don't have any answers.)

Number of people you follow who follow them.

The best thing about tor is its ability to punch through NAT like butter. Setting up a hidden service is so much easier than setting up a regular service.

And then it "crashes" to $800k and half the people say it's dead, half the people say "it's only 20% this is nothing for bitcoin, I honestly thought it was going to fall more" then a month later it falls to $200k.

With lnbits you could have a payment terminal that works offline, but depends on the phone connecting to an online server somewhere. So where could someone like her have an lnbits instance running that doesn't also go down during the load shedding?

Whats the best nostr client that I can self host on my local homelab?

I'll let the original participants in this conversation continue it. My comment was based on the assumption that criticisms already brought up were true, so it will rest on the conclusion of taat discussion.
