I don't know....
Do you know how tor works? I don't. I trust that millions of other people use it and seems to not have been reports, but in actually I can't trust it if I can't really verify? It seems that I get different IPS and that kinda makes me happy for some uses.
I don't know anything about mullvad.
In other words, it will change fuck-all!
VPN must be the best lie ever to be told. A centralised service, used by everyone who doesn't want to be seen all in one convenient log for the CIA to read.
Oh, and you pay for it!
When was the last time that upon revealing mass surveillance, unlawful discrimination, war crimes, evidence of torture and atrocities, changed the state of things?
No. I disagree.
The ISP is an implementation detail to facilitate I/O. You can achieve the same using LoraWan, radio, satellite comms. Just not that convenient.
Email server is software. It can be ran anywhere.
However, DNS needs approval from only a few corporations who are in this monopoly business.
How do we go around the DNS centralisation problem?
nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z you had an idea the other day using Nostr. I didn't quite understand it, but would it be worth actually developing a new protocol for this outside of Nostr? A specific Decentralised Domain Name Server Protocol?
But I really like the idea of running a base and grassroots distro :)
Isn't that just an OS? How does it handle email?
Does anyone have a simple setup for a self-hosted email server?
I'm tempted to start with postfix and dkim and all that stuff, but I wonder if there is a better/simpler way to do this?

Not here to change your mind, unless you define "best".
Blessed be the front Ender's, for they shall inherit the earth.
The way the next few days are gonna be:
1. Work
2. Family
3. Flutter
4. Fitness
5. Finding peace
Every other thing outside of this top 5, I should do my best to run away from.
I'm gonna use some anonymity from Nostr and extensively criticise all coding work I find. I'll use it to vent all my frustrations with my fellow co-workers and superiors, and I shall tell the world how absolutely shit it is when you are surrounded by idiots.
And no, I'm not buying that book.
