I discouraged her from starting an OF because she's not in a position to put in the kind of work required to be successful there. I got her on BentBox first, but that's a bit of a hustle as well.
Nostr has good potential to work, and it is still early days, so I've been helping her get set up and figure it out.

Strike is great because it is bitcoin-only, and serves as an exchange so you can covert your sats to usd and plop it into your bank account if you want to. You do have to use strike.army to get the LN address to allow for receiving zaps directly on notes, but once your setup it is slick.

Coracle has been gaining steam w/ me lately.
Each one of those is a server that takes your notes/posts and sends them to everyone else on the relay. Conversely, it also sends everyone's posts to your feed. No, you don't really need to mess with them. You *can* decide to only send or only to receive from them individually.
At least the other one sang me the happy #birthday song the best he knew how.
