It's funny how soft forks to Bitcoin go through their own Bull/Bear markets.
I've recently arrived at the position that softforks will only ever come to Bitcoin if they are desperately needed.
There has been no push lately for any Soft Forks because we don't really need one for:
Privacy-it would be nice, but what we have now works well enough.
Scaling-we for sure don't need one now lol and tbh I think fees on chain need to be well into the $100s before we really need to be concerned about major changes
I think eventually we will see soft forks, which I look forward to, but I don't think we see them until just after we start to really need them.
