Stablecoins need to be renamed to USD coins. Words matter and I think a lot of regular people are gonna get burned long term saving in a "stable"coin.
You should definitely try stuff like Cashu out, it's pretty awesome. Couple things:
Nuts, mints - these are terms involved in the Cashu ecosystem. I suggest trying out a Cashu wallet like Minibits (Android) or cashu.me . Cashu is a custodial ecash system built on top of Lightning.
Payjoin transactions happen on the base chain and help break assumptions made by people surveiling the network. payjoin.org can do a much better job of explaining any of that than me.
These things are complimentary to each other, rather than competitive.
I think it will be within the next few years cuz of the fee savings, especially for exchanges. May not see much action from them until another sustained fee surge.
I feel like very few people are talking about Payjoin still. This needs to change.
