#asknostr is there a nostr tool akin to google maps for leaving reviews for businesses? This seems like a great use case to leverage WoT for.

The biggest problem faced by execs is the biggest problem faced by anybody high up in any organization: information loss. Information fed to you about the company's performance comes from below, often through several intermediaries. Stats on productivity don't exist on their own, they are an interplay between your SOP, how much people actually comply with SOP, the regional variations in that for your various offices, how reporting works, etc. The best way to counter this poor information flow, even if time consuming, is to dig into it. Get to the sources. Encourage candid feedback from people "downstream" from you. Don't end up putting yourself in the same problems experienced by the byzantine generals.

Some nostr apps have a map view which can show you geo-tagged posts, may help you locate some friends. #nostrudel has one for sure

I know you can rent inbound liquidity from phoenix and zeus, which I think is the same thing you're talking about. I just tested out making a new channel with a random lightning node. It works! Now I can route payments via zeus or this other random node, whichever is cheaper at the time. Bitcoin is fucking rad,

I thought that with, for example, Zeus, the model is:

1. You create a lightning channel between your phone's node and your LSP (zeus)

2. Because zeus is online 24/7 (and provides other services like an ln address w/ zeuspay) that this makes them a good place to open a channel with.

3. My inbound liquidity remains limited to whatever that channel has in it. When I first open the channel, it is 100% outbound liquidity.

If I move $50 into my zeus wallet from on-chain to lightning, it opens such a channel, then I have $50 in outbound liquidity, right? And no inbound liquidity? But couldn't I theoretically do that with any available routing node out there even if they're not an LSP? Aside from maybe missing out on some uptime and zeuspay, if there any difference?

Very interesting, thank you! Reviews seem meh but I love supporting an OSS/OSH project and at $35 it's not a huge risk if it doesn't work out

Idk about primal. In nostrudel, you don't need to "link" the wallet in any way, you just make your address in zeus, paste it into nostrudel, and there you go. I made an error in my previous reply, zeus if fully self-custody, it is a non-custodial wallet, you hold the keys.

#asknostr I'm interested in getting a fitbit-type device, but don't love the privacy issues that come with it. Anybody got suggestions for good alternatives? #fitness #fitbit #privacy

I've never met #introductions but he sounds like a cool person! Welcome to nostr, use the asknostr hashtag if you need any help
