Thinking about python, geospatial, forestry, and LiDAR in small-town Idaho.

In comparison to other RomCom Christmas Movies it's like a solid 85 haha

It's all relative... Not a great movie in general but fun watch during Christmas IMO

You think it's overrated for a 64% on Rotten Tomatoes? I actually disagree! It's a yearly watch for us and pairs perfectly with Die Hard πŸ˜‚

Ahh bummer. Thanks for the info. I am using their assisted custody service right now, but wanted to do some multisig testing with a family member that lives in another state. I supposed I can do it with sparrow and am comfortable handling the PBSTs, but unsure how to get started with creating the wallet descriptor with a remote signer.

Insane in the US you're paying like $12 for a single piece of Uni wherever you go

Does Nunchuk now require a paid wallet to do collaborative multisig? If so has someone done a tutorial on how to do this effectively with Sparrow?

Ah, OK. That's fair. I've recently moved to nostr:nprofile1qqs9g69ua6m5ec6ukstnmnyewj7a4j0gjjn5hu75f7w23d64gczunmgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qz9thwden5te0v35hgar09ec82c30wfjkcctexf34p3 and dead impressed. They seem really in touch and responsive too.

I came from using vanilla LineageOS. I've been Google free for nearly a decade now!

That's awesome. I just made the switchfroma 4 years on an iPhone so it's a bit jarring. 4 days in and I feel like I've got the phone mostly how I want it now! The way they have the permissions working in Graphene with Sandboxed play services and the storage scopes really is phenomenal

Mainly the sandboxesd apps and profiles. Honestly the inconveniences that bothered me the most were more oddities than privacy features - things like wallpapers and text notifications not fully working on secondary users. I get that fixing some of the small things aren't a priority and it's still a fantastic OS.

I think my initial post was partially in frustration of needing to reconfigure a bunch of stuff to make some simple stuff work. I would still recommend it to anyone who wants a good privacy OS, but not as broadly as some people on nostr recommend it

Sometimes I feel bad for not being on nostr, but I think my new phone background sums up my reasoning. Love this place when I'm on my phone πŸ’œ

As nice as GrapbeneOS is I am kind of shocked I didn't hear more about all the slight/moderate inconveniences before I got started
