People will realize that decentralized solutions are the only path towards freedom of speech. Twitter is far from that. Creators are already being dictated to complete KYC. Next will be the users. Not to mention the KYC services has links to a Intellegence agency.

money needs flexivity to adjust to economic demand and thus gold as a hard asset could not suppport this requirement. Thus the need for fiat.

I'm happy that Assange is finally going back home.

But it's absolutely outrageous that after being held for 5yrs in jail without trial he still had to plead guilty to be freed, was forbidden from flying commercial & will now owe $500k to the AU govt.

Many are here to be their own bank. Hopefully LSPs in Lightning can scale to include anyone, I have read up on some improvements on LSP pools. We'll see how the economy evolves.

That's definately true in regards to hashrate. Though Monero is ASIC resistant which does make it somewhat harder to coordinate in scale.
